The objective of this project was to explore the property and structural strength of an MS pipe and the different ways of bending MS pipe.  



I created a lamp where most of the light is focused on the working area, giving it an aesthetic, modern, minimal look. The MS pipe gives the lamp strength and rigidity along with high intensity LED lights providing sufficient light.

Process followed  -
- Pipe bending
- Wood turned on lathe
- Router was used to make the grove in wood
- Sandblasting was done to make acrylic opaque  
- Primer was applied
- Soldering was done to connect the light strips

White color was used  to follow a minimal aesthetics .

The adapter was paired over to maintain the seamless design

i would add rubber feet at the bottom to prevent the paint from getting damaged

there would be two hinges, one at the top and the other at the bottom

 create the base smaller and increase the bend angle

 add a hinge in the lamp to make it more portable and fully packageable .
